Peren, August 16 (MExN): The Sainik School Punglwa observed the 74th Independence Day celebrations on August 15 with Captain Prasun Basu, the Principal as chief guest.
The programme was attended by the staff and the day scholars of the school. The programme started with the hoisting of the Tri Colour followed by the National Anthem.
The school distributed sweets, masks and sanitisers to the villagers of two adjoining villages- Punglwa and Gaili.
The NCC Coy, Sainik School Punglwa joined in the celebrations by creating awareness about the present COVID-19 situation.
