‘Nagaland says no to Plastic’ campaign at Kigwema village

Kohima, July 1 (MExN): The Coming Generation- Leading the Lead conducted an awareness session as part of the ‘Nagaland says no to Plastic’ campaign at Kigwema Village on June 30. The organisers stated in a press release that the event was attended by the village councils, church leaders, and women society and youth organization.  

The Coming Generation team sensitized on the hazardous effects of plastics to human health, land hazards and air pollution. They emphasized to give up plastic bags and instead use cloth bags which are easily available. The village council, church leader, youth organization and the women society agreed upon to play vital role equally to implement and desired to declare as Free Plastic village at short time.
