The much awaited song ‘Say goodbye to corona (Covid-19)’ by Sargam Cultural Association (SCA), Dimapur, dedicated to frontline workers amidst the Coronavirus was released through Youtube in Dimapur on July 7.
The song composed by Kamal Kumar Acharjee is about the value of patience, discipline and perseverance in daily life, as experienced during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown. Host of artistes participated in the making of this song, where Nokrang Longkumer arranged, did the mixing and mastering, while videography and editing was done by Justin Lakra.
The musicians in the video feature Abhjjit Kumar Deb (Bappida) on Bass, Rubel Acharjee on Keys, Nirupam Shome on Guiter, Sohel Acharjee on drums. The female vocalists were Pooja Kachari Pati, Vinika Yepthomi, Echenaro Longchari, Riya Dakhal, Rokovino Pucho Peseyie, Tsuthula Yim & Srabanee Acharjee, while the male vocalists were Bidyut Mazumder, Rajat Ghosh, Prem Mech, Arijit Sharma, Wricheek Biswas.
