Nagaland: Scholarship applicants informed on bio authentication

Kohima, September 4 (MExN): In continuation of its earlier notification, the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Nagaland has informed students who have applied for Post-Matric Scholarship and Merit-cum-Means based scholarship scheme for the session 2022-23 under Ministry of Minority Affairs, GOI through National Scholarship Portal (NSP) that the Ministry has allowed to authenticate the bio-metric of students outside their institute district/states.

Students who wish to authenticate their bio-metric outside their institute district/state will be given one time irreversible opportunity to opt for this facility from September 4 to 6 from 11:00 am- 7:00 pm in their NSP login. Students will have to choose State/District of their choice and have to upload documents as reflected in the NSP.

Students have been advised to avail this facility carefully as once they choose to authenticate outside institute district/state they will not be able to authenticate at the institute, stated a DIPR report.

Interested students have been directed to report on September 7 and 8 at the Conference Hall of the Directorate of Technical Education, Kohima for bio authentication.

HOI/INO of the Institutes have been advised to take special care in re-verification of these applications
