Nagaland scores 6th rank in 9th North East Zone Shooting C’ship

Dimapur, September 15 (MExN): Nagaland state stood in the 6th rank at the medal tally during the 9th North East Zone Shooting Championship, 2022 conducted by the National Rifle Association of India (NRAI) and organized by the Assam Rifle Shooting Association (ARSA). It was held at 4th Battalion Assam Police Kahilipara, Guwahati, Assam from September 10-13. 

A press release from the Nagaland Rifle Association stated that shooters from Assam, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Army Marksmanship Unit and Assam Rifle Marksmanship Unit participated at the Championship. 

Altogether, 20 shooters from Nagaland participated at the Championship and achieved one Gold Medal, seven Silver Medals, and two Bronze Medals and stood 6th Rank at the medal tally.
