Kohima, October 8 (MExN): The Nagaland State Election Commission (SEC) on Wednesday notified recognised national and state parties, registered unrecognised parties, and free symbols for the upcoming Ward-11 (Zhipa) election of Pfutsero Town Council, scheduled for October 28.
The move, issued under Section 31(1) of the Nagaland Municipal Act, 2023, and in accordance with the Election Symbols (Reservation and Allotment) Order, 1968, aims to ensure clarity and uniformity in the use of symbols during the poll.
