
KOHIMA, OCTOBER 9 (MExN): The Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority (NSDMA) has issues weather advisory that the state will experience light to heavy rainfall in the coming days, with conditions expected to be fairly widespread. Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning are forecasted for October 10 and 11 in several districts, including Peren, Niuland, Kohima, Phek, Wokha, Zunheboto, Mokokchung, and Longleng.
Meanwhile, other districts may see partly cloudy conditions with light rain continuing until October 15. In light of these weather conditions, the NSDMA has urged the public to exercise caution to prevent any potential accidents or emergencies. The authority has also advised all District Disaster Management Authorities and relevant line departments to remain alert in order to protect lives and property during this monsoon period.
