DIMAPUR, APRIL 28 (MExN): The 7th Nagaland Shooting Championship 2022 in Rifle/Pistol (NR) events will be held at Aries Rifle And Pistol Shooting Academy, Khelo India Centre, Dimapur from May 24 to 28.
Shooters, who are below 21 years and 19 years of age as on December 31, 2022, will be considered under the category of Juniors (2002 onwards) and Youth (2004 onwards) respectively for the championship. Shooters below the age of 12 years are not allowed to participate in fire arm matches during this championship.
Shooters, who have not received/ applied for their Shooter ID number, must immediately visit NRAI website www.thenrai.org to check status/apply for their Shooter ID number. The entries with normal fee will be accepted till 6:00 pm on May 15. Late entries with triple entry fee will be accepted till 6:00 pm, May 22.
A press release from the NRA informed that the organizing committee reserves the right to “amend the rules at any time at its sole discretion for events/circumstances beyond its control.” It further informed that discipline on and off the field is very essential. Shooting practices in hotels are strictly prohibited.
Shooting kit (clothing & Equipment) of the competitors during the competition will be strictly according to ISSF Rules.
