8th Kohima District Open Volleyball Tournament from November 10
Kohima, November 7 (MExN): The 8th Kohima District Open Volleyball Tournament 2021 (Men & Women) has been scheduled for November 10 to 12 at Kohima Local Ground under the aegis of Kohima District Volleyball Association (KDVA). Last date for submission of entry forms is November 8. Entry forms available have been made available at Sports World, Main Town, Kohima and Star Sports, near Southern Angami Sumo Parking, BOC Kohima. Meanwhile, KDVA ground management committee will have a meeting on November 8 at 10:00 am at Kohima Local Ground.
Nagaland Wushu Association informs
Dimapur, November 7 (MExN): The Nagaland Wushu Association will be participating in the upcoming senior national Wushu Championship cum national game qualifiers which is to be held on December 4 to 10 at Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. In this regard, the Association has informed that there will be a trial selection on November 16. All the instructors and interested candidates have been requested to contact Coach DP Gabriel Khamo (7630994233) for more details.
CRWA to host seminar on ‘Skill development and employability’
Kohima, November 7 (MExN): The Chozuba Range Wrestling Association (CRWA) is organizing a seminar on ‘Skill development and employability’ with State Institute of Rural Development (SIRD) as sponsor on November 13 at Chozuba Village Council Hall. Vesato Dozo, Director SIRD will be the guest speaker. Other speakers of the seminar include Cholzo Sophie, General Manager DIC Chozuba, Vekhozo, president Chakhesang Wrestling Association and Hukhoneyi Soho, convenor Nagaland Wrestling Referee Board.
