Nagaland: Sports News in Picture
Yingli College, Longleng organized its 31st annual sports meet from October 11 to 13 at the college campus. The programme began with a speech by Dr Chubakumzuk Jamir (Sports Convener) and was kicked off by Dr Mahabir Jha (HOD, Political Science). Black Swan lifted the overall championship, followed by 1st runners-up Falcon and 2nd runners-up Pelican.
The ICFAI University Nagaland conducted its annual IUN Literary and Sports Week from October 9-13, 2023. The events were held at the university premises and at Sovima local ground. In the grand event, the students participated as four teams - Bulls, Lakers, Rockets and Warriors respectively. The 5 day programme caomprised of competitions including chess, art, debate, futsal, cricket, marathon, poetry writing and photography. Team Warriors emerged as the overall champions. The White Owl and Heritage Publications were also a part of the event.
