Dimapur Athletics trials on Jan 27

DIMAPUR, JANUARY 19 (MExN): Dimapur Athletics will be conducting a trial to select the district team to participate in the forthcoming Nagaland Olympics (Open Category) and NIDJAM (Juniors U-14 & U-16). PDAA informs athletes

DIMAPUR, JANUARY 19 (MExN): The Peren District Athletics Association (PDAA) has informed all interested athletes of Peren district that selection trial for the district athletics team for the upcoming Nagaland Olympic and Paralympic Games 2024 will be held at St Xavier College (Jalukie) track and field arena on January 23 at 8:00 am. Nagaland Veterans Inter District Football Tournament

Kohima, January 19 (MExN): The Nagaland Veterans Football Association (NVFA) is all set to conduct 11th edition of the Nagaland Veterans Inter District Football Tournament 2024 from February 20 to 23 at Nagaland Police Complex, Chümoukedima. Chümoukedima District Veterans Football Association will host and organize the tournament under the aegis of NVFA. Entry fee has been enhanced to Rs. 50,000 from Rs. 30,000. Eligibility age for players: One should have attained 45 years as on February 15. Proof of age: Aadhaar Card. All District Veterans Football Associations have been requested to participate in the tournament and confirm their participation on or before February 10. All teams may consist of 21 members i.e. 18 players & 3 Officials (Team manager, Coach & Physio-therapist). For further details & confirmation, contact K. NOA calls for coordination meeting on Jan 22

DIMAPUR, JANUARY 19 (MExN): In preparation for the upcoming Nagaland Olympic & Paralympic Games 2024, scheduled to take place from February 12 to 17, the Nagaland Olympic Association (NOA) has called for a coordination meeting to discuss crucial aspects related to the planning and execution of the games to ensure a smooth and successful event. The meeting will be held on January 22 at 11:30 am at the Nagaland Olympic Association headquarters, Sovima, located in the office of Nagaland Adventure & Motorsports Association at the Regional Centre for Sporting Excellence.  All the Presidents, General Secretaries of the Sports Associations participating in the Nagaland Olympic & Paralympic Games 2024 and the Chef de Mission, Deputy Chef de Missions of all 16 districts of Nagaland are requested to attend the meeting. Tuensang athletics trials from Jan 22

TUENSANG, JANUARY 19 (MExN): The Deputy Commissioner of Tuensang has informed that in view of the Nagaland Olympic and Paralympic Game 2024 the trails for selection of participants (both Men & Women) in athletics from Tuensang district will be conducted from January 22 to 23 at Tuensang HQ at St John Higher Secondary School Ground, Tuensang from 10:00 am onwards. KDVA announces selected players  for Nagaland Olympic Games 2024

Kohima, January 19 (MExN): The Kohima District Volleyball Association (KDVA) today announced the selected players of Kohima District Men’s Volleyball team for the upcoming Nagaland Olympic & Paralympic Games 2024. The players includes; Keneivitso Suohumvü, Kethovikho Zenyü, Menuoselie Hojha, Vitsilhoukho Suohumvü, Pfülise Lese, Keneiso Tepa, Vimechozo Thuphre, Neitho-o Shunyü, Medovito Sale, Khevozoto Mera, Adolie Kere and Kezhasezo Dzüvichü. Men’s Team Coach-Neivikhotuo Vielie, Men’s Team Manager-Neichütuo Zhasa, Women’s Team Coach-Kenongol Tase and Women’s Team manager-Savilie Kire. For Women’s Volleyball Team, the KDVA will be conducting an open selection trail on January 22 at D. Khel Ground, Seikhazou. All the volleyball enthusiasts have been asked to join the same.
