Nagaland State Bharat Scouts & Guides visited Wokha on February 5.
Wokha, February 5 (MExN): The Nagaland State Bharat Scouts & Guides (BS&G) held a consultative meeting with the District BS&G, Wokha at the DC’s Chamber, Wokha on February 5.
Vineet Kumar IAS, district president of BS&G and DC Wokha while speaking in the meeting bring out to initiate the youths in joining the movement. He assured the visiting officials, to support the district BS&G for taking up activities – instilling the minds of the youth for responsible citizens’.
Nino Iralu, State commissioner (Guides), NSBS&G, chairperson of the meeting lauds the district, and said that BS&G Wokha is the most performing district in the state. She highlighted the role of Nagaland State BS&G and concludes the first session with a note of gratitude to the district president for warm welcome and successful conduct of the meeting.
Other activities initiated by the visiting teams includes - Highlights of BS&G by SOC (G), BS&G in schools by SOC (S), Importance and acquaintance of higher trainings for unit leaders pronounced by STC (S) and district report presented by DOC (S), Wokha. The second session conducted at the DC’s Conference Hall, includes unit leaders from various schools and institutions. The state BS&G team visited various Schools in and around Wokha, stated a press release issued by Thunglamo Odyuo, Press BS&G, Wokha.
