Shamator, February 28 (MExN): The Fourth Nagaland State Finance Commission led by Chairperson, Sarah R Ritse, Retired Commissioner & Secretary Government of Nagaland and her team visited Shamator. The team convened a review meeting with District Administration, Town Councils, Public Leaders, Ward Chairmen, and representatives from government officials of PWD, PHED and Power on February 27 at DBs hall, Shamator, a DIPR report stated here.
The meeting was chaired by chairperson of the Commission. Deputy Commissioner, Shamator, Chubatemjen welcomed all the officials of the commission and also table the district urban status after which representatives were given time to put up their agendas, where all the ward president of Shamator shared the problems facing by the general public reflecting mainly on water scarcity, poor road condition, and frequent landslides.
Representatives of Shamator Public Forum suggested for escalation of fund for expansion of roads, culvert and drainage. The Department of PHED, Power and PWD also reported the status of their ongoing projects and problems faced by the department.
