Nagaland state government convenes consultative meet

Kohima, March 2 (MExN): A consultative meeting with to discuss matters related to the Naga Peace Process, the Armed Forces (Special Powers) Act, the Nagaland Liquor Total Prohibition Act as well as the Urban Local Body elections in Nagaland will be conducted on March 9.

In a notification issued through the DIPR, Home Commissioner Abhijit Sinha informed that all the Members of Legislative Assembly, church bodies, and organisations including the ENPPO, CNTC, TNPO, NSF, ENSF, NMA, and ENWO have been invited to the meeting which will be held at the State Banquet Hall, Chief Minister’s Residential Complex, at 10:00 am on March 9. 

The Home Commissioner requested the presidents and two representatives from each organization to attend the meeting and also invited Niketu Iralu, Rev Wati Aier, Dr Dietho Angami, Rev Pongsing Konyak, Rev Kethosier Aniu Kevichüsa, and Prof Visier Sanyu to participate in the consultative meet.
