Kohima, DECEMBER 9 (MExN): The Nagaland State ST Morcha (Schedule Tribe) state executive meeting was held on December 6 at BJP state head office, Kohima. A press release issued by NSSTM stated that the meeting was graced by Moba Konyak, Pastor, Konyak Baptist Church Kohima.
Guest speakers, Kevechutsu Doulo, chairman, NEPeD, and Johny G Rengma, director of National Finance & Development Corporation, Government of India in their address highlighted the gathering on the various government schemes initiated by the central government for the welfare of the tribals.
The meeting also discussed the duties and responsibilities of BJP Karyakatas and resolved to work at the grass-root level for organizational set up of ST Morcha at the mandal level to strengthen the BJP party in Nagaland.
The meeting further discussed on the proposed Maha Achivesan (tribal convention) scheduled in February 2019 and resolved to send at least five delegates from each district.
