Dimapur, March 12 (MExN): P. Paiwang Konyak, Minister for Transport, Information Technology and Communication, Nagaland had called on the Union Minister for Communication and Information Technology Ravi Shankar Prasad at his office chamber Sanchar Bhavan New Delhi.
Paiwang had submitted the state project proposal under (PDF) Project Development Fund facility at the cost of Rs. 214.67 cr for nine (9) components of the project. He also requested the Union Minister that the project must be consider under the “Digital India” which was initiated by the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.
The Union Minister said that, the project will be taken up in the next financial year 2016-2017 and assured the Minister for early sanction of the project. This was stated in a press release issued by Kuolie Mere, PRO, Nagaland House, New Delhi.
