Winners of the 1st Futsal Championship at Kiruphema Tachyon FC.
Kohima, November 6 (MExN): Tachyon FC today emerged as the champions of the 1st Futsal Championship Kiruphema.
Tachyon FC overpowered Fireball FC 5-1 in the finals to win the title. They were awarded a prize of Rs 6,000 while runner-up Fireball FC received Rs 3,000.
Diethorovi Mor of Tachyon FC bagged the individual prize for highest goal scorer (7 goals). Sameer of Tachyon FC was declared as the best custodian.
The tournament was organised by Peducha CRC youth at Kiruphema Local Ground. 15 teams participated in the tournament. Later, a penalty shootout also took place with the participation of 20 teams.
Veteran FC and Fireball FC emerged as the champion and runner-up, and were awarded with Rs. 3000 and Rs. 2000 respectively.
