Nagaland team with NWA and YRS officials
Kohima, April 11 (MExN): The send-off programme was organized today at Indira Gandhi Stadium Kohima for Nagaland state wrestling team under the banner of Nagaland Wrestling Association (NWA) to participate at ‘2022 Under-17 (Cadet) Boys Free Style, Greco Roman Style & Women National Wrestling Championship’ being organised by the Jharkhand State Wrestling Association under the aegis of Wrestling Federation of India.
It will take place from April 15 to 17 at Ranchi.
The team comprises five girls-Razouno in 43kg, Vilasano in 46kg, Seketholü in 49kg, Kenosale in 53kg, Vizoseno in 57kg and two boys- Popo and Ngonuyi both in 55kg category.
The programme was chaired NWA general secretary Vilekho Bio. NWA Technical Secretary, Mitwatei Ato Haibwang spoke at the programme. The team is led by Kikhwesül Thokhwe, Nagaland Wrestling Coach.
The Department of Youth Resources & Sports, Nagaland is sponsoring the team.
