Nagaland Technical Edu notifies on new norms for scholarship

Kohima, August 19 (MExN): With regard to the implementation of Post-Matric Scholarship CSS and Merit-cum-Means based scholarship under National Scholarship Portal (NSP), all the higher secondary and colleges have been informed that Aadhaar based authentication of Institute Nodal Officers (INOs) KYC is made mandatory from the session 2021-22 prior to the verification of the applications by them for which the INOs have to provide their Aadhaar number on NSP Portal.

An update from DIPR stated that the Higher and Technical Education department has advised Institute/Colleges to complete this process by August 31 without which student’s scholarship application form cannot be verified online in NSP.

The facility to perform the above exercise has been made live on the NSP Portal and the OTP generated during the process will be sent to the mobile number registered with the Aadhaar of INO. NSP will be using the same mobile number for all communications and sending OTPs in future. The NSP login of the INO would be operational post completion of KYC at NSP using Aadhaar number of the INO.

The link to apply for Institute KYC registration is available under SERVICES section on the NSP (https://scholarships.gov.in). Utmost care should be taken while filling up KYC Registration Form as it cannot be modified after submission. Steps involved in applying for KYC is made available at www.dtenagaland.org.in under notification section. For any queries institute may mail their queries to minoritynagaland@gmail.com
