The Nagaland team set to compete in the National championship.
Dimapur, January 26 (MExN): The Nagaland men’s basketball team will participate in the 5th 3x3 National Basketball Championship for Men and Women, scheduled to be held in Delhi from January 29 to 31.
The Nagaland Basketball Association (NBA) in a press release stated that the team has been selected with an emphasis on long-term development and represents a youthful squad aimed at building the future of basketball in the state. The team will leave Dimapur on the morning of January 27 for the national championship.
The squad comprises Sedeneituo Kuotsu, Theyieneilhou Rutsa, Cuwe Mero, who will serve as vice captain, and Keneitseizo Belho, who will lead the team as captain.
According to the NBA, the team is expected to represent Nagaland’s competitive spirit and resilience at the national-level tournament.
Sentiningsang Longkumer, Honorary Secretary of the NBA, said, “This young and capable team represents the future of Nagaland basketball. Their participation in the 5th 3x3 National Championship is not just about competition, but about building a legacy of excellence, resilience, and pride for our state.”
The 5th 3x3 National Basketball Championship will feature teams from across the country competing in the men’s and women’s categories over three days in the national capital.
