
Dimapur, October 2 (MExN): The inaugural NECDC Senior Women Interstate Friendship T20 Tournament 2024, hosted by the Meghalaya Cricket Association, is nearing its climax with the semi-finals scheduled for tomorrow at the Nongkhrah Cricket Ground in Pahamsning, Ri Bhoi.
The tournament, which began on September 30, has seen strong performances from teams across the Northeast, and four teams remain in contention for the championship.
The semi-finals will feature Meghalaya facing Nagaland at 9:00 AM, followed by Sikkim taking on Manipur at 12:30 PM. The winners of these matches will advance to the final, which is set to take place on 5th October at 10:00 AM.
As it stands, Meghalaya leads Group A with six points, while Manipur and Arunachal Pradesh follow with four and two points, respectively. In Group B, Sikkim holds the top position with eight points, with Nagaland and Mizoram trailing behind with four and no points, respectively.
