Dimapur, November 10 (MExN): Nagaaland is set to host the upcoming Dr. T Ao Junion Girls National Football Championship 2025 at the Chumoukedima Football Stadium from November 22 to December 11, 2025.
In an update from the DIPR, it stated that the department of Youth Resources and Sports (YRS), convened a meeting on November 10 at the DC’s Conference Hall, Chümoukedima, to discuss matters related to the upcoming Dr. T. Ao Junior Girls National Football Championship 2025-26.
The meeting was chaired by the director of YRS, Kethosituo Sekhose, where he focused on reviewing and finalizing preparations for the national-level championship.
Convenors and co-convenors of the organizing committee and functional area committees attended the meeting where all issues related to accommodation, security, reception and technical matters were deliberated.
Deputy Commissioner of Chumoukedima, Polan John, said that it was a privilege and a challenge for the district administration to host a national level tournament in Chumoukedima.
John urged all the members involved to work together and ensure coordinated efforts among all stakeholders for the smooth and successful conduct of the championship.
SDO(C), Chumoukedima, Chumbenthung Murry was chosen as the Nodal officer on behalf of the District administration.
The tournament will be held at chumoukedima Football Stadium from November 22 to December 11, 2025 where a total of 16 teams will be participating in the event.
