Dimapur, November 10 (MExN): A joint team of officials conducted a comprehensive ground reconnaissance at the Bhagat Stadium in Rangapahar, Dimapur in preparation for the upcoming 14-day Territorial Army recruitment rally.

The recce team comprised officials from the Dimapur District Administration, Police, Traffic, Public Health Engineering Department (PHED), and Medical departments, a DIPR report stated. They were joined by the Commanding Officer and other officers of the 113 Infantry Battalion (Territorial Army) Rajput.

The recruitment rally is scheduled to be held from November 15 to 29.

The recce covered the entire candidate route from TCP Gate to the rally venue, with officials meticulously reviewing arrangements for crowd regulation, traffic control, safety barriers, and directional signage. Detailed checks were also carried out at the candidate marshalling and holding areas to ensure smooth flow of documentation, batch formation, and orderly movement into the assessment zones.

At the main rally site, teams inspected Physical Fitness Test (PFT) lanes, Physical Measurement and Medical screening areas, as well as communication setups, water points, sanitation facilities, and waste management systems. The collective effort aimed to identify and address any last-minute gaps prior to the commencement of the event. The recce reflected strong civil–military coordination and a shared commitment to conduct the region’s largest multi-state recruitment drive with complete transparency, safety, and efficiency, it stated.

“The 113 Infantry Battalion (TA) Rajput appeared fully prepared for the upcoming mega rally involving candidates from ten North Eastern States and West Bengal, reaffirming its dedication to a disciplined, merit-based, and candidate-friendly recruitment process—a benchmark for future collaborative civil–military initiatives in the region,” DIPR added.
