Nagaland to join National Masters Games 2024 in Goa

Nagaland will be participating in the upcoming National Masters Games 2024 in Goa this year. Roko Angami, vice president Nagaland Masters Games Association (NMGA) informed that this time, Nagaland will be participating in two categories- 40+ Men’s football team from Kohima and 50+ Men’s football team  from Dimapur.

National Masters Games 2024 has been scheduled for February 8 to 12. 40+ Men’s football team from Kohima will consist of 16 players.

Roko Angami, who is also president of Nagaland Football Coaches Association and Director of Coaches, Nagaland Football Association and Mhasimhalie M Yhome, president of Kohima District Football Association will also be part of 40+ Men’s football team from Kohima.
Other players includes Viliebeizo Liezietsu, Thangchapu Rongmei, Khrietuo Rupreo, Akho Sorunuo, Khriengulie Rio, Burakum Ao, Kechangulie Dul, Vizoru Peseyie, Vizovor Liezietsu, Pezavituo George Vizo, Vikepelhou Dziivichii, Lawrence Neikha, Vikuzo Zhotso, Khriesazo Liezietsu. Team Manager- Visakholie Medoze and Wekulhi Lohe.

Kohima team has started practice season from Saturday.

The team played an exhibition match today with Kohima District Veterans Football Association (KDVFA) at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima.
Meanwhile, Dr. Neikiesalie (Nicky) Kire, president KDVFA president will unveil the jersey of Kohima team on January 30.
