Toshi Walling

Dimapur, June 18 (MExN): Independent Candidate for Ward 11 Toshi Walling while expressing his vision vowed to work for a more secure and brighter street, uniting businesses and empowering communities, improved sanitation, waste management, clearer drains and a cleaner community. He stated this during his candidate declaration programme of the Urban Local Bodies (ULB) election held at his residence on June 17.
Attended by his friends and supporters, Walling told the gathering that their support confirmed his decision to run in the ULB election for Ward 11 (constituting of Duncan Bosti and River Belt Colony), a press release received here stated.
As a social worker, it mentioned that Walling has visited the most remote and isolated areas of the State to understand people’s daily challenges. Drawing on this extensive experience, he assured that if elected, he would enthusiastically and zealously work towards the development of the ward, aiming to uplift the community.
Under the slogan “Forward Together,” his vision encompasses safer, championing the voices of youth and women, creating a green, clean, and thriving neighborhood, ensuring transparent and trusted governance. In addition to supporting senior citizens, providing skill development opportunities for youth, and establishing self-help groups for women.
Others who spoke at the event included representatives from Duncan Bosti Council, Ao Senso Telongjem Dimapur, Dimapur Ao Youth Organization, River Belt Colony GB Anthony, Er Senti Longkumer, Imlichiba and others.
