Lumami, December 8 (MExN): Three books were released by Prof Pardeshi Lal, Vice-Chancellor, Nagaland University in the presence of faculty, officers and administrative staff at Lumami on December 8.
Two books titled “Stories and Rhymes for Children” and “Telling Tales” are written by Dr Anthony V Richa, Dy Registrar, NU while the book titled “Life, Love, Death” is written by Prof MK Sinha, Department of Economics, NU were released.
Guests of Honour Prof AK Singh, Department of Political Science and Dr Abemo, Registrar, Nagaland University also delivered brief speeches, stated a press release.
Releasing the book, Prof Pardeshi Lal, Vice-Chancellor, NU and also the chief guest highlighted the significance of holding the book release in the Silver Jubilee Park which marks the creation of the University. He dwelt at length on the three books, the theme of life, love, and death. He hoped that the books would have a deep impact on the minds and thoughts of the readers.
The programme was chaired by Dr Kundan Kumar, KVK; welcome speech was delivered by Dr Anthony V Richa and vote of thanks by Peter Ki, PRO, NU.
