Mon, January 10 (MExN): The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra which is being undertaken across the country with an aim to reach out to public to create awareness and attain saturation of welfare schemes has reached villages of Tizit sub division under Mon District, Nagaland.
Rajya Sabha MP, Phangnon Konyak also attended the Yatra programme held at Old Jaboka village on January 9 and briefed the gathering about the purpose of her visit, stated a DIPR report.
On the same day, Yatra campaign was also held at Jaboka for both Jaboka and Nettong villages. SDO (C), Tizit, Tumben P Tsanglao, who led the Yatra programme at both villages highlighted the aims and objectives of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY). Tsanglao stated that the VBSY is a movement to achieve the aim of self-reliant and developed India by 2047 by providing basic amenities and other essential services accessible to all targeted beneficiaries.
Highlights of the Yatra programme included administration of Vikas Bharat pledge, screening of PM Svanidhi IEC video and recorded message of Prime Minister. The programme was also marked by on-the-spot registration and services including, NCD & TB screening, Ayushman/CMHIS by MO, CHC, Tizit, Aadhaar updating/enrolment by Aadhaar Supervisor Tizit and financial literacy camp with special emphasis on PM Mudra & PM Svanidhi Scheme by Branch Manager, SBI Tizit.
