The Nagaland Voluntary Women Welfare Organisation under the leadership of Kaisa Rio, wife of Chief Minister of Nagaland, conducted a social work at Sanuorü River and adjacent area, Secretariat road, Kohima on June 23. During the social work, the members of the organisation including wives of various Member of Legislative Assembly, female bureaucrats and wives of senior bureaucrats cleaned the garbage, plastic etc. which was blocking the river, and making the entire area dirty. The social work was carried out with a view to clean up the entire area and to avoid further damage during the monsoon. (DIPR Photo)
