Officials and others during the workshop cum capacity building programme for UNNATI 2024 held in Kohima on April 24.

Kohima, April 24 (MExN): The Directorate of Industries & Commerce, in collaboration with the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) and Grant Thornton Bharat LLP (Project Implementation Unit), organised a workshop cum capacity building programme for UNNATI 2024 on April 24. The event brought together officials, investors, and stakeholders to discuss the scheme’s benefits and implementation.
The workshop was divided into two sessions. Session I, moderated by Cholzo Sophie, Joint Director & Nodal Officer, UNNATI, was attended by officials from the department and District Industries Centres (DICs).
In a special address Er Y Lipongse Thongtsar, Additional Director, Industries and Commerce, emphasized the importance of the UNNATI scheme in promoting industrial growth in Nagaland.
An introduction to the UNNATI 2024 scheme was given by Hudaibia Nafis Khan, Consultant, DPIIT, highlighting its key features and objectives.
The detailed overview of the registration and claim processes was delivered by Shubham Gupta, Consultant, Project Management Unit (PMU) while a portal demo on the UNNATI 2024 scheme portal was made by Pavitra Rana, Senior Business Analyst, Unnati’24 Scheme Portal Agency.
Session II, designed for existing and potential investors of the UNNATI scheme, featured expert sessions from resource persons, including Pepenthung Lotha, Consultant, Project Implementation Unit (PIU) of GT Bharat LLP, who shared a success story of UNNATI registration and highlighted the benefits and opportunities available under the scheme.
Shubham Gupta, Consultant, PMU, who provided a detailed overview of the registration and claim processes, reinforcing the key takeaways from Session I Pavitra Rana, Senior Business Analyst, Unnati’24 Scheme Portal Agency, who delivered a comprehensive portal demo, showcasing the functionality and ease of use of the UNNATI scheme portal.
Suresh Kumar Rai, AGM, SIDBI, Dimapur, who discussed financial aspects, including bank appraisal and Detailed Project Reports (DPRs), crucial for securing funding for projects under the UNNATI scheme.
Ikheshe Kahoto, Assistant Director & Master Trainer, UNNATI, moderated Session II, focusing on the needs of existing and potential investors.
