Nagaland WRD conducts training on service and accounts matter

Kohima, November 1 (MExN): The Water Resources Department (WRD), Nagaland held its second training on service and accounts matter for the officers and ministerial staff of Mokokchung, Tuensang, Mon, Kiphire, Zunheboto, Phek, Jalukie, Wokha and Longleng division on November 1. A DIPR report stated that this training is being held from November 1 to 3 in the Chief Engineer office, WRD.

Opening remark was given by Er K Hutoi Sema, Superintending Engineer, wherein, he exhorted the participants to take this training programme as an opportunity to clear all their doubts, with regard to office procedure. He exhorted the participants to enhance knowledge and skills of employees while providing information and instruction on how to better perform specific task.

Resource persons were Andreas Ezung, Under Secretary, Department of Economics & Statistic and Khinyi Woch, Retired Senior Accounts Officer, Treasuries & Accounts Department.

Er Wapangnaro Imchen, Executive Engineer, who chaired the programme informed the house that the Department has been conducting such training for the past three years and it has brought immense benefits to the officers and staff in performing their duties as government servants effectively.
