Dimapur, October 25 (MExN): The Nagaland Zoological Park (NZP), Rangapahar, Dimapur will be opened for public entry from October 26 onwards, an official release informed. However, due to COVID-19 pandemic, the zoo administration will allow visitors’ entry as per norms and protocols laid down by the Central Government as well as the State Government, stated the release from NZP Director, Dr C Zupeni Tsanglai. Social distancing and wearing of masks are mandatory for visitors and they are requested to cooperate with the zoo staff during entry as protocols are required to be followed, it said. While visitors can bring their own drinking water, disposable bottles must be disposed into the waste bins provided at locations inside the park, it added. The zoo administration further requested the visitors to bear inconveniences during entry inside the park until the pandemic is over and normalcy returns.
