‘Nagas can come together if they humble themselves before God’

“Nagas can come together if they humble themselves before God and not boast,” Apostle Rev Luoliehu Yimsung asserted and added, “it is about time that we come together and not scattered anymore.” 

Speaking at the 10th Kingdom Leaders Prayer Breakfast Summit (KLPBS) held under theme ‘Thanksgiving, Unity, Servanthood’ at Hotel Vivor, Kohima on Saturday, the founder of KLPBS, Apostle Rev Luoliehu Yimsung, Sydney, Australia  stressed on the need to have unity among leaders irrespective of political parties, social and religious groups and implored on them to speak ‘one language and one voice’.

He asked the Naga leaders to remain faithful to their callings in their respective professions. Rev Yimsung also advised the leaders to remain alert and protect their family, marriage, community, city and nation.

Aloh Ngowang, the Chief Ahng of Sheanghah, Mon district in his greetings expressed delight in being part of the event and called upon the leaders of the state to give attention to development to bring at par with the neighbouring state and expounded on the need for unity.

Dr Andrew Ahoto, National General Secretary, NPP called upon the people to think beyond oneself and urged the people as a true leader. He also told the gathering to broaden their vision to transform the state.

Earlier, welcome address was delivered Rev Robert Kikon, Sr. Minister, Father’s House Church. Rev Dr Rabi Pame offered ‘shofar blowing.’ The programme was moderated by Nune Kire. Rev Yamyap Konyak, State Chaplain invoked God’s bleesings. Rev Fr Benjamin Chang, Parish Priest, St Mary’s Parish, Lakhuti village said the benediction.

A one minute of silence was observed to remember the legacy of past leaders.

The Summit marked a special prayer for the legislators and leaders of political groups, civil society leaders and churches. The 10th KLPBS was sponsored by CL John, Minister for Environment, Forest, Climate Change and Village Guard Nagaland.
