Dimapur May 16 (MExN): The NNC has charged the NSCN (IM) of ‘telling lies to the people just like the Government of India did in 1975 by announcing that the Nagas had surrendered.'
According to a press release issued by the NNC through Thomas, the organization stated that it was astonishing to all Nagas that in place of Indian leaders, the NSCN (IM) have been telling lies to the people that the Nagas have surrendered in 1975 by signing an accord.
“Even after the Nagas have celebrated the NNC Golden Jubilee in 1997 and the Golden Jubilee of FGN in this year 2006, Mr Raising told lie to the world again that the Nagas have surrendered in 1975 and accepted the Indian constitution.
The Nagas had celebrated the jubilee only because there was no surrender agreement or accord in the running history of Nagaland” it stated.
