Dimapur, July 10 (MExN): The Naga Christian Fellowship of South Korea (NCFSK) organized Summer Camp on June 24 to 26 in Seoul city, Gupabal, Seokwang Church under the theme ‘Rekindle first love’.
The speakers of the event were Dr. Tasoni Moon and Dr. Akum Ozukum, said a press release from NCFSK president, Vesetalu Tetseo and general secretary, Katoshe Aye.
Dr. Moon spoke on the topic, ‘Pressing towards the goal’. Sharing text from Philippians 3:2-14, he emphasized on the life of Paul the Apostle who lived a meaningful life with a single focus, and a determined purpose to follow and know Christ Jesus. Stating that no hardship could ever contain or stop Paul from pursuing his zeal for the Lord, the speaker reminded the Naga students in Korea that running a good race for Christ Jesus require a lot of focus, perseverance and commitment to serve. He urged upon the campers to strive for excellence and dedication, the release stated.
Speaking on the topic, ‘Vision’, Dr. Ozukum said, “When we have no vision, we walk aimlessly, live carelessly and die shamefully. The poorest people are not the ones without money but it is the people who have no vision.” He exhorted the campers to rekindle their passion for Christ and fulfill the purpose of God, saying, “Life stops when you stop dreaming, hope ends when you stop believing.” Quoting Proverbs 29:18, “Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth law, happy is he,” Dr. Ozukum further urged the participants to have a firm vision with focus to serve the Lord as Christ Ambassadors.
