Naik A Levi Magh (Retd) receives Veterans Achiever’s Award.

Dimapur, February 21 (MExN): Naik A Levi Magh (Retd) from the 164 Infantry Battalion (Territorial Army) NAGA was awarded the Veterans Achiever’s Award by the General Upendra Dwivedi Cheif of Army Staff at Eastern Command at Kolkata on February 20.

An update received here stated that Naik A Levi Magh (Retd) has taken on the noble mission of inspiring and preparing the youth to join Indian Armed Forces, resulting in a number of unemployed youth joining the Indian Army as soldiers.

Nk A Levi Magh (Retd) was an asset and a role model to the organisation during his service in the Army due to his unending devotion to duty coupled with creativity in every task that he performed, it stated.

With the introduction of SPARSH in the year 2021, monthly pension of all the Army pensioners were stopped due to non submission of digital life certificate. Nk A Levi Magh (Retd) drawing on the extensive experience and knowledge he gained in the Army played a tremendous role by helping the pensioners to submit their digital life certificate in some of the remotest and far flung areas of the state, despite facing significant challenges and operating with limited resources, thereby ensuring continuity of pension of retired personnel.
