Dimapur, September 24 (MExN): The two day, 11th State level ITF Taekwon-Do & 5th Naga Kito-Do Championship, 2011 has come to an end here in the state indoor stadium. Most of the attraction of today’s event were the Black Belt category sparring, the senior and junior group tools and also the special technique from different age groups as well and the most awaited the Kiti-Do sparring which was bagged by the Nagaland Armed Police Training Centre group and the Signal Kiti-Do Club bagged the Runners Up trophy.
The trophy for the best Male player went to H.Yongna Konyak from St. Stephen Hr. Sec. School, Dimapur , the best female player trophy went to Linitho Suu from Kohima Taekwon-Do Academy. The overall Championship trophy in today’s event went to St. Stephen Hr. Sec. School Dimapur whereas Pilgrim School, Dimapur and the 15th IRB Mahila Battalion bagged the 1st & 2nd runners up position and the Best Discipline trophy was bagged by Christina Memorial Hr. Sec. School, Dimapur.
The closing ceremony was concluded by the words of encouragement by Ketsokienu, vote of thanks by Mr. Amit Das 1st Dan Black Belt followed by the Benediction by Mr. Atheli Daniel 1st Dan Black Belt. Lastly the Federation (NTF) has also said to their participants to prepare themselves for the upcoming National level championship to be held by this year end.
