Narcotic Cell seizes 240 IMFL bottles

Dimapur, October 24 (MExN): The Narcotic Cell of the Excise department, Nagaland seized a total of 240 bottles of IMFL on October 24 at the Excise Check Gate, Chümoukedima. Based on suspicion, the Excise Narcotic Cell duty party intercepted a Maruti Van  bearing registration Number NL 07 1291, and on frisking recovered the IMFL concealed inside wheat bran (cattle feeds) and egg cartoons. As per a press release from Deputy Commissioner of Excise (NC) S Chanlei Angh, one woman, a resident of Phek District was arrested and booked under relevant sections of the NLTP Act 1989.
