Dimapur, June 24 (MExN): The Northern Angami Sports Association Group-C has vehemently condemned the act of Assam Rifles which cause “atrocities and harassment” to Kezhale-O Rülho’s wife and children by raiding his residence without any valid reason on June 20 at 8:30 pm. The NASA-C president Keneilhoulie Theünuo and General Secretary Ruokuohelie Mere while condemning the act stated that he is a social activist as well Class-1 contractor, also holding the post in the capacity as Finance Secretary in NASA-C and added “It is highly questionable to the AR the high- handedness toward a respectable person in the society.”
Meanwhile, Nerhema Students’ Union (NSU) also condemned the unprecedented raid conducted at the private residence of its community member Kezhaleo Rülho, Class 1 contractor. “It appears that the AR personnel conducted house raid without even obtaining prior sanction from the appropriate authority which is in total violation of all norms for the security forces to intrude into the private life,” the NSU alleled in a press release issued by its president Zevituo Mere and Assistant General Secretary Medokhriezo Kengüruse. Kezhaleo is a peace loving and respectable citizen in the society and a professional businessman, therefore, there is no reason whatsoever for the AR to have any suspicion to conduct raid at his residence, the Union added.
