KOHIMA, NOVEMBER 8 (MExN): The Northern Angami Sports Association Group-D (NASA-D) organized a coaching camp for Naga Wrestling (junior & senior) and cricket; and referee clinic for Naga Wrestling, Football and Volleyball at Botsa from November 4 to 6.
On the opening day of the three day programme, the dedication of the cricket practice pitch at Botsa, was also inaugurated with a prayer pronounced by Associate Pastor RuokuobeilieZumu, Botsa Baptist Church in the presence of coaches from the Nagaland Cricket Association and executives of NASA-D. The practice pitched was donated by the Nagaland Cricket Association.
NASA-D has expressed special thanks to Kechangulie Rio, President, Nagaland Cricket Association and the Nagaland Cricket Association for constructing the pitch.
The 3 day coaching camp and referees clinic was availed by a host of sportspersons from the twelve villages. The organizers acknowledged the various agencies and resource persons for making the coaching camp a success. It thanked all the trainers and coaches of the varied disciplines. It also noted the financial assistance provided by Dr Neiphrezo Keditsü, Chairman, NKVIB.
