The Northern Angami Sports Association (NASA) Group-D has conducted the 1st belt wrestling competition for both men and women as part of 31st Sports meet 2023 at Tuophema Amphitheatre.
Vibeilietuo Kets, president NDPP II Northern Angami II AC graced the meet as the special guest. The event witnessed 53 participants involving cadet, junior and senior and five women wrestlers.
Earlier, NASA D president Kevilezo Kense delivered presidential address while Neikeso Zumu administered oath to the wrestlers. The inaugural function was chaired by Thepfukhrietuo Riipreo. Vote of thanks was proposed by Neilalie Pielie. International belt wrestling bronze medalist Keduovilie Zumu officiated the event as chief referee.
