Kohima, June 11 (MExN): The Northern Angami Students' Union (NASU) organized a programme to honour toppers and subject toppers of HSLC and HSSLC examination, 2023 at Kohima Village Council Hall on June 10.

Nagaland Youth Resources & Sports Director Kethosituo Sekhose graced the occasion as the guest speaker. Sekhose congratulated all the successful students of the entire region and especially those toppers and achievers for bringing laurels to the community.

He advised the students to keep themselves focused and strive towards their goals with sheer determination and hard work, and also encouraged the students to follow their passion and above all to always put God first in their works and studies.

"Hard work pays", Sekhose told the toppers for what they had already proved and asked them to work harder to excel in life, shoulder the responsibilities and to achieve the dreams of their parents. He also advised the students to work towards bringing honour and pride to the society.

Rükravolie Rülho, NASU Advisor & PA to Chief Minister and Khriesamhalie David Mere, President, Angami Students’ Union (ASU) also exhorted the gathering.

Altogether, 17 toppers and subject toppers were felicitated and honoured with certificates by NASU.

Earlier, the programme was chaired by NASU Education Secretary Keneitsituo Kense while Letuolie Pienyü, Pastor, CRC Pezielietsie invoked God’s blessing. Thejasenuo Kire presented a special number. Felicitation of toppers and subject toppers were done by NASU General secretary Ketholezo Keyho.

The programme concluded with vote of thanks by Viketoulie Khrodi, NASU Auditor General.
