Dr Imsongienla Epidemiologist and Dr Henshet Phom Vice Principal with teaching faculties and students of Yingli College
Longleng, December 5 (MExN): The District Health Society Longleng observed National Air Pollution Day at Yingli College Longleng on December 5.
Dr Imsongienla Epidemiologist in her short speech stated that National Air Pollution Control Day is observed to make the community aware of Air Pollution- related issues, it's devastating impact , how it affects our daily lives and how Pollution control protects our environment by conserving and protecting natural resources. She spoke on how cycling to college and work and using public transportation is a sure short way of contributing to Less Air Pollution as it provides with less gas and energy. It was followed by Environment Protection pledge with the students and facilities of Yingli College, Longleng.
Similarly, this weeklong campaign is observed in District Hospital and all the Health units under Longleng district.
