Major General Vikas Lakhera, AVSM, SM, IG, IGAR (N) along with Brigadier Jai Bhagwan Singh Rathi, Deputy Inspector General, HQ 5 Sector, Assam Rifles today flagged off the National Integration Tour of 20 students of Kohima College, Kohima Science College, Sazolie College and Oriental College from Kohima.
During this National Integration Tour, the students will visit Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun and Kumaon and Naga Regimental Centre, Ranikhet.

They will get an insight on Indian Army, its infrastructure, training aspects and other peculiarities which will motivate them to join the armed forces and will instil a feeling of sheer patriotism.
The students will also visit the National Capital, Delhi and will experience the rich and cultural heritage of the nation and also witness the monumental structures and metropolitan life of the capital.
The National Integration Tour aims at fostering the relations between the civil populace and Security Forces and strengthening the harmony wherein students from North Eastern corner of nation will cross the boundaries to witness altogether a once in a lifetime experience which they will mesmerize throughout their life and tales of the tour will be shared and echoed in entire Nagaland.
