
Dimapur, March 11 (MExN): The National People’s Party (NPP) new office headquarters was inaugurated at Limar Ki Complex, 2nd floor, Walford, Dimapur on March 9.
A press release issued by Ranjit Singhvi, Spokesperson and General Secretary IPR , NPP Nagaland satted that the office inauguration was done by NPP President Nagaland State and MLA, A Nyamnyei Konyak in the presence of MLA and Leader of NPP Legislature Party, Nuklutoshi along with office executives, NPP Mahila Wing, NPP Minority Wing, NPP Youth Wing and party workers. The dedication ceremony was conducted by Rev Fr Kasthang Kath, Believer’s Eastern Church.
In his address, the NPP President Nagaland State urged the party workers “to maintain the sanctity and decorum befitting a National Party and focus on the activities of the party with co-operation to one another.” He highlighted that “to bring about an honourable Naga People’s Political Solution, which has been long standing demand of Naga people, all the parties have come together to form an Opposition less Government in Nagaland.”
“Being a national party and a constituent of NDA at the Center, and NEDA at the Regional party, we were bound by the edict of the NPP National President, Conrad K Sangma,” he said while adding, “we should work together in tandem so that we can play a larger role in development of our State Nagaland in particular and for all Naga People in general.”
MLA Nuklutoshi reiterated that important events are unfolding for the NPP as Lok Shaba Elections are going to be decaled very soon followed by the ULB Elections in the State after two decades. He urged the party workers to work hard with dedication and “showcase our aims and visions to the People of Nagaland in the forthcoming Elections.”
The meeting concluded with vote of thanks by NPP General Secretary, L Hiketo Shohe.
