Abdul Rasheed Ansari, national president BJP Minority Morcha who was in Nagaland on Wednesday in connection with BJP Nagaland state Minority Morcha Sammelan said that he had fruitful discussion with them on organisational matter and implementation of various government schemes for upliftment of the minority communities.
Addressing a press conference here, Ansari said the Sammelan emphasized on the need for the BJP party and its Morcha to serve the people at the ground level and to ensure that the schemes are implemented on ground level and the benefits of the welfare schemes are availed by those who are entitle to get.
He called upon all the minority communities to keep in touch with BJP Minority Morcha “so that we could serve them better.”
Ansari said that the Sammelan also discussed on the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections and the party workers gave an assurance to extend maximum time for the election campaign.
“It will be a door to door campaign, meeting with beneficiaries of the government schemes, meeting with influential key voters, scholars, religious leaders, educationist,” he said.
The Sammelan, he said, have also taken pledge to ensure that national security and unity, peace and harmony “will be taken care of.”
Appreciating various actions taken by NDA government at the centre, he said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken all steps to ensure security and pride of the country.
He expressed utmost support to NDA and felt that “they should be re-elected to ensure harmony, security, development and pride of the nation.”
He expressed happiness that neighbouring states of north east including Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur and Tripurafor who participated in the Sammelan and shared their views.
Meanwhile, Rajiv Jha, president Nagaland state BJP Minority Morcha and other officials also present at the press conference and expressed the need to have Minority Commission in Nagaland.
SM Akram, national general secretary, BJP minority morcha also present at the Sammelan.
Khevishe Sema, state secretary/minority in-charge Nagaland, Mukhtar Hussain Khan, Assam president BJP Minority Morcha, Md. Salam Khan, Manipur President BJP Minority Morcha and Loko Sono, Arunachal Pradesh president BJP Minority Mocha also spoke at the programme.
