Dimapur, January 24 (MExN): Nagaland State conclave of the National SC/ST Hub scheme of the Ministry of MSME of Government of India will be held on February 5. In this regard, a DIPR release stated that a meeting was held at the conference hall of Nagaland Industrial Development Corporation (NIDC) on January 24, under the chairmanship of Commissioner & Secretary, Industries & Commerce, Lithrongla G Chishi.
During the meeting, National Working President, Forum of SC and ST Legislators Parliamentarian, Inder Iqbal Singh Atwal briefed the gathering on how the conclave will be organized. She said that the programme will be a one day affair with four sessions where targeted group will be university students and existing and upcoming entrepreneurs in the state.
Different schemes of the Government of India designed to assist the entrepreneurs will be highlighted and the financial institutions will also be involved to brief the guidelines to avail different schemes, the release added. The meeting resolved to hold the conclave at Agri Expo Site, Dimapur. A Joint Working Group headed by ADC, Dimapur, Albert Ezung was constituted during the meeting.
The Chairperson sought support of different departments and stakeholders for the successful conduct of the programme. National SC/ST HUB is an initiative of Government of India aimed to create supportive ecosystem of SC/ST entrepreneurs.
