
Dimapur, March 18 (MExN): National seminar on ‘Oral Tradition of the Nagas and the Tangible Heritage, the Makhel’ is scheduled to be held on March 24 at the conference room of Centre for North East Studies and Policy Research Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi.
The keynote address on ‘Oral and Print: Cultural Transmission and Continuity’ will be delivered by Prof. Vinay Kumar Srivastava, Department of Anthropology, University of Delhi. The seminar will dwell on the topics of Orality: Concept, Context & Text; Orality and Naga Legends: Change and Continuity; and Naga Civilization, Tradition & Migration.
