
Kohima: Northern Angami Youth Organization (NAYO) has informed that following a complaint of molestation of a woman by a non-local businessman, it took an initiative to ascertain the facts and take necessary action thereon. In the course, it was established that the offence was “genuine and serious in nature.” Therefore, based on the gravity of the offence, the NAYO has expelled the offender from further residing in Kohima with immediate effect, stated a press release issued by NAYO president Peter Rutsa and its press secretary Rukravolie Rulho.
The offender has also been forwarded to the law enforcing agency for necessary action. In this respect, NAYO has lauded the Muslim Welfare Society Kohima for co-operation and promptly identifying and handing over the accused.
