The office building of Northern Angami Youth Organization (NAYO) was inaugurated today at Chiephobozou town by Prasielie Pienyü, Ist NAYO president.
Pienyii said that NAYO was formed in 1993 for the welfare and protection of its people and the first flag hoisting took place at Meriema village, followed by Zhadima village during its second meeting.
He expressed happiness that NAYO has now turned 25 and will celebrate its 25 anniversary on December 5 at Chiephobozou town.
Earlier, Dziesetuolie Chadi, pastor Baptist Church Chiephobozou pronounced dedicatory prayer.
Northern Angami Public Organization (NAPO) president Neiyalie Pfiisenuo, Chiephobozou Central Committee convenor Visakuolie Kiewhuo and NAYO 25th Anniversary organizing committee convenor Kekhriengulie Theiinuo also spoke on the occasion.
The function was chaired by NAYO vice president Riikravolie Riilho while NAYO president Neizolie Riipreo delivered welcome address.
Building committee convenor Kehonei-u Thernuo gave the details about the construction of the office building while vote of thanks was proposed by NAYO treasurer Vizotuonyii Lhoungu.
The programme was followed by NAYO presidential council meeting.
