NBCA ordains its youngest Pastor

DIMAPUR, MARCH 12 (MExN): The Nagamese Baptist Church Association (NBCA) today certified Ministerial License to Rukuolhoulie Solo, its youngest Pastor. This was done during the service held at Flames of Fire Baptist Church, Kohima.

Rev. R. Meren, Executive Secretary, NBCA after administering the art of Commission, stressed on the topic "Catch the vision" and said people will vanish if they don't have a vision. He commented on the growth of the Church along with the vision of Pastor Rukuo.

The ministry of a church, Rev R Meren stated, “should be evangelism and proclamation, preaching and proclaiming the good news that Jesus Christ is the Messiah.” The church grows when the believers are empowered by the Holy Spirit, he added.

Rev Meren further emphasised that as Christians one should live by the greatest commandments written in the book of Matthew 22:37-40. A Church is not a reality show but the love and relationship between the believers and their love for the church, he added and challenged the youth to catch the vision of the church and bring revival in the church because without the presence of the Holy Spirit a church will not be functional with the love of God.

Earlier, sharing his life testimony, Pastor Rukuolhoulie Solo said in the year 2005, studying in standard 9 he dedicated his life to Jesus Christ and decided to follow and work for  Him. At the age of 17 he started ministering house to house and had a vision to bring thousands of people to follow Christ before he attained 20 years of age. He started the Flames of Fire Baptist church in 2009 with just 9 members. The church has now 450 members and 200 Sunday school children.

Pastor Ruokuo will be preaching during the upcoming Revival programmes this month at Garo Baptist Church Kohima on March 24 and at Tseminyu Town on March 30. Mhabeni Ngullie, Women Secretary, NBCA led the service while Daniel Sangma, Pastor, Garo Baptist Church pronounced the invocation. License recommendation was announced by Salie Nuh while Medosecho Yongo read the scripture and short speech was delivered by Rev Niveilie Mere.
